Anthony Isenalumhe, Jr, MD, DABAM (Diplomat of the American Board of Addiction Medicine) brings to Universal Spine and Joint Specialists an impressive educational resume. He received his medical degree from the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine where he also completed an internship and a residency in anesthesiology. Dr Isenalumhe also completed a fellowship in pain management at the renowned Stanford School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California.

Dr Isenalumhe holds numerous awards; among them he was the New York University Resident Scholar for the Foundation of Anesthesia & Research (FAER) in New York and the recipient of the Samuel Spiegel Award for Academic Excellence while attending NYU School of Medicine. He was also the recipient of the Mack Lipkin Broader Horizons Fellowship Program at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, City University of New York (CUNY) Medical School where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dr Isenalumhe also received the Sophie & Leonard Davis scholarship for academic merit and achievement in community service while at CUNY and was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society for Academic Achievement at CUNY Medical School.
